He Has Arrived

He’s here! He’s here! My long awaited guest has finally arrived! Thor showed up jetlagged and ready for bed… just before milking time. The God of Thunder moped and moaned, but we finally made it to the barn.

Thor was less than pleased about the poo. Who woulda thunk it? The God of Thunder was afraid of dirt.

Sleep was promptly forgotten when he saw the large, fuzzy beasts with knobby antlers. “Bilgesnipe?” he inquired. “No,” I responded. “Bovines.”

His first meet and greet with the cows…

… did not go as planned.

Hammers don’t work against cow slime, Thor.

His introduction to the species was fraught with missteps, but he eventually warmed up to the drooling, hairy creatures.

“Puny god, we shall call a truce.”

Later on, he helped me prepare for a GISHWHES challenge.

Thor has inside info into GISHWHES awesomeness.

He dragged himself back to the house after a long day, hauling his hammer behind him, and curled up in bed to sleep the night away.

Even his hammer looks tired. Now where am I going to sleep?

Keep an eye out for more photo shoots as Thor visits Upstate New York!

I LOVE that Thor is helping you prepare for your GISHWHES challenge. I looked into that yesterday after I saw you posting about it on twitter. Totally cool, btw. 😀

Thor and the bull! Yeah – as if. It’s only a lonely milk cow. Will Thor go back for more??? Fun start to tour stop. Thanks for hosting.

Thanks, Debra! Thor’s having an awesome time. We had more GISHWHES fun today at the coffee shop, working on GISHWHES Hugs The World. 😀

Who would have thought that the mighty Thor was afraid of bovine Samantha? Did you have to blindfold him in order to get him to sleep? He’s a bit frisky, that Thor. He’s caused all kinds of havoc around the globe. Beware Samantha. You have got your hands full! 🙂
